About the Role: We are looking for a Global Business Process Team Leader to join our Business Process and Data Management (BPDM) team in the Performance Solutions Division (PSD). This Global Business Process Team Leader is responsible for the leadership and development of business process. Associates to achieve group results for business process capability building across PSD. The BP Team Leader will provide strategic and tactical leadership to a team of Associates focused on business process identification, development, analysis, measurement, sustainment, and governance. Additionally, the Team Leader manages the planning and/or prioritization of work for Associates on the team.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at any US East (Newark, Delaware or Elkton, Maryland) or US West (Flagstaff or Phoenix, Arizona) facility, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs. Working remotely will increase the expectation to travel.*

Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of all business process resources, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with Performance Solution Division digital enablement strategic outcomes
  • Establish and mature business process capabilities including process definition, documentation, governance, analysis, and measurement
  • Partner with the Enterprise Leaders, Divisional Digital Leader, PSD Business Process Data Management group Leader, PSD Data Leader, Division Process Coordinators, and Divisional business and functional leaders to implement industry best practice business process disciplines as part of the digital core initiatives
  • Provide process guidance for technology deployments, strategic plans, and other initiatives, including developing intake and prioritization processes and associated documentation for business process activities
  • Work with divisional stakeholders to align process improvements with organizational objectives and strategic plans / roadmaps
  • Partner with Business and Process Leaders to create alignment between the enterprise and divisional process strategies while ensuring process approach is designed/sustained to meet the Division’s strategies and objectives
  • Lead PSD business process team to ensure alignment to BPDM team strategic direction, eliminate roadblocks, understand team needs, influence and motivate team, create functional connections, and ensure timelines are met
  • Lead PSD business process team to develop and apply divisional process governance, ensure team is meeting quality standards by training on and consistently applying process principles, policies, and standards (e.g., APQC)
  • Work as part of the PSD Business Process & Data leadership organization and with the Enterprise to support milestones, risks, and business process requirements, investments, resourcing, communications, and change management
  • Establish target goals (value drivers, milestones, and metrics) to track improvement and identify optimal approaches for resolving issues to achieve targets. Monitor, and communicate metrics performance and trends, including problems, remediation plans, ongoing activities, and project progress updates

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years using Business Process Management/Process Performance Management, along with data, to achieve differentiated business results
  • Minimum of 3 years of people and/or team leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic systems thinking across multiple businesses, portfolios, projects, and programs to identify and resolve conflicts relating to business process while understanding the broad impact of both process and data related decisions
  • Experienced at taking action to solve problems and ability to identify and drive opportunities for continual improvement
  • External and internal knowledge of business process management (BPM)/Process Performance Management (PPM): analysis, governance, maturity, and measurement, including the utilization of business process management tools
  • Demonstrated track record of success using business process discipline (with data) to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborative and consultative decision-making style with demonstrated ability to partner across organizational groups and process areas with other leaders to gain commitment, remove roadblocks and drive for common, best practice processes and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop a team of Associates from multiple regions across the globe within a fast paced, and fluid environment, while establishing and maintaining an environment of equity and inclusion
  • Ability to be flexible, navigate ambiguity, and deliver effective outcomes in a dynamic, fast paced, and rapidly changing environment while maintaining strategic focus and operational plan alignment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively translate process concepts with both technical (IT) and non-technical stakeholders, convey complex concepts in a simple manner, and relate to business impact/value for leadership
  • Ability to travel 15% of time (expectation will increase if working remotely)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of business processes and data in the following industries: Aerospace, PharmBio, Automotive, Filtration, Semiconductor and/or Mobile Devices
  • ERP or enterprise system project and program delivery experience, including experience working with global teams and external partners
  • Six Sigma/Lean/Continuous Improvement Fundamentals
