Salary – $45,925 (pending adoption of board policy for salary) - based on experience and education

Benefits - $12,000.00
Length of contract – Full-time contract (185 days) plus 3-day extended for professional development conference- if attended.
Job duties – The successful candidate will teach Health Science classes to Dickinson High School students, as well as students from outlining schools either face-face, ITV, and or online if enrollment allows. This teacher will be employed by the Roughrider Area Career and Technical Center. Future class offerings will be based on RACTC, Dickinson, and the outlying school district’s needs and student interest. The teacher will work closely with the RACTC Director, Dickinson Public School Administration, RACTC Health Science Teachers, and Dickinson High School Teachers in carrying out school and center educational goals. The teacher will/may assist students as a SkillsUSA advisor to make each student more employable through the development of participatory and leadership skills to complement the occupational skills developed by students in technical education classrooms or work-based learning sites.

Credentials – The Candidate must be able to receive a North Dakota Career & Technology Education Certificate. Individuals with a health career background and degree qualify for an initial certification. See qualifications below.
