HEMODIALYSIS TECHNICIAN

The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. HEMODIALYSIS TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initiation, monitoring of and termination of a hemodialysis treatment with strict adherence to policies and procedures
• Functions as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Participates in interdisciplinary ESRD activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2 years college in a scientific field or 2 years related medical field experience (corpsman) or equivalent dialysis patient care experience
• CCHT or CCNT certification required (or must be acquired within 18 months from date of hire). Minimum 1 year previous experience required.
