HR ADMINISTRATOR

As HR Assistant, you will have a critical and highly visible role on a two-person HR team, executing our people initiatives, driving HR functional excellence, and supporting the entire Tylok team:
- Lead the conversion of legacy HR processes and records to our new HRIS.
- Support the recruiting/selection/hiring processes and workflows.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientations.
- Rewards administration, including benefit enrollment, open enrollments, and COBRA.
- Coordinate performance management, including performance & competency evaluations.
- Coordinate Health/Safety/Environmental (HSE) initiatives.
Qualifications include:
- Associate's degree in a business-related major; Bachelor's degree in a business-related major preferred.
- 4+ years of HR generalist experience. Manufacturing setting preferred.
- 1+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
- HR certification desired, but not required.
- Well-developed communication skills (written/oral/electronic).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally & externally, with all levels and all functions.
- Highly motivated with a bias towards action.
- Strong leadership, organization, and prioritization skills.
- "Extreme Ownership" of position responsibilities.
- Ability to think critically and analytically.
- Practical and creative approach to problem solving and the ability to work with ambiguity.
- Proven absolute confidentiality, with impeccable integrity, superior professionalism & credibility.
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
- Proactive in building relationships.
- Willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing job expectations and requirements.
- Strong computer/system skills: Proficient in HRIS, ERP software, payroll software, MS Office.
- Interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with individuals across the organization.
- Enthusiasm for change and continual improvement.
All work is to be performed onsite at our facility in Euclid, OH. The position requires drug and background screens.
