JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Human Resources Generalist is a knowledgeable professional who has a wide variety of experience in Human Capital Management and Human Resource Information Systems. This individual is an experienced, full time, exempt employee who has strong foundational skills in HR, high proficiency with various software and payroll systems, and demonstrates a broad knowledge base of general legal, payroll, and labor law in order to successfully manage the needs of a growing organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
- Ability to pass a federal DOJ LiveScan, or if an administrative position, a standard background check.
- Possess valid driver’s license.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Current T.B. clearance.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 20 lbs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HR Generalist will be assigned projects, based on his/her level of expertise, that include any, or all the following job responsibilities.
- Administer compensation and benefit plans.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer and other executive officers of the organization.
