Description:
The Graham School is looking for a High School Intervention Specialist for the 2023 - 2024 school year. The Graham School has a particular mission to urban students in Central Ohio preparing them for lifelong learning and informed citizenship through real-world experiences and rigorous academics. Fostering ownership and responsibility for their education prepares our students to be successful in college, the workplace, and other endeavors they undertake upon leaving The Graham School.

Position Overview: Intervention Specialist
- Works with their caseload of students to support their academic, behavioral, and social goals.
- Writes, implements, evaluates, and communicates a students’ Individual Educational Plan.
- Provides documentation for all services, communications, and supports provided to students. This information may be communicated to families, teachers, building leadership, and department.
- Work collaboratively with the department team to provide excellent interventions for all students. Expected to be problem identifies and solvers in a collaborative setting.
- Work with additional team members, School psychologist, therapists, Director and others to determine the most appropriate ETR/IEP goals for students.
- Collect student academic data, observational notes, and related to evaluate IEPs.
- Provide timely communication to various stakeholders about student progress.
- With the building leadership and grade level teams, write, implement, and evaluate Crew lessons. Develop Crew class culture such that the school's mission, vision and core values are reflected.
- Develops a caring and nurturing classroom environment where all students can contribute to the community, learn, express questions/concerns/thoughts, and deepen their growth as a life-long learner.
- Follow building guidance regarding parental communication, classroom management norms, and PBIS expectations.
- Staff members often have additional responsibilities and duties to help the school function safely and effectively. This is at the discretion of the building leadership team and is fairly shared across the instructional team.
- Staff members will utilize many digital platforms to further their work, communicate with stakeholders, inform students of grades, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Ohio Educator License related to instructional area
- Pass BCI and FBI background check
- Pass Educator Licensure conduct review
Compensation:
- Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and education.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
