Summary

Provide investor relations and financial analysis support to the senior management team.

Expectations

Generally given guidance and parameters, but expected to work independently. Self-directed and self-motivated. Able to prioritize, set and meet deadlines. Proactive in researching and understanding the content included in CSR’s internal financial reporting, SEC financial filings and public presentation materials in order to effectively provide management tools and analysis. Requires the ability to understand and interpret relevant financial data and recognize inconsistencies. Requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills , well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Stays abreast of industry trends and outside research perspective relative to the real estate markets.
  • Develops external benchmarking of competitors utilizing industry data.
  • Creates or assists senior management in creating publications and electronic materials used in the Investor Relations program.
  • Manages Investor Relations relationship database, press releases, mailbox and website.
  • Develops and analyzes reports that identify key operating metrics (i.e. occupancy, leasing activity, renewal rates, operating margins, cap-ex costs, etc). Works with team members to understand key drivers.
  • Participates in preparation and support of the forecasting process
  • Assists with the design, implementation, and maintenance of company’s business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Ensures financial data accuracy, integrity, and consistency of information as well as documentation of results.
  • Outward facing and communicates with external organizational counterparties

Travel

Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience: 2-4 years experience in finance, accounting, investment management or research, investment banking, capital markets or other related work. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other business related field is required. Experience with BD Corporate Ipreo and S&P Capital IQ preferred.
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually very quiet.
