IT Enterprise Business Analyst 3

Under broad supervision, analyzes enterprise-wide customer business needs and participates in the planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced systems that may serve multiple state entities. Demonstrates expertise in database management and report writing. Utilizes business intelligence applications such as Crystal Reports and Power BI to extract, manipulate and present information from databases. Develops general guidelines for the development, regulation and integrity of organizational data and automation. Utilizes knowledge of major Community Service Board (CSB) software applications, including CSB electronic health record (EHR) and county applications to improve department knowledge management. This includes the integration of consumer and staff information, trend analysis, regional, state, and national direction, with stated agency goals, measures and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

· Analyzes business operations and identifies business needs and process improvements.

· Identifies, analyzes, and provides specifications for writing individual reports for their assigned applications.

· Creates new reports using third-party report writing tools.

· Creates advanced SQL/Reporting solutions that meet the business unit’s needs.

· Understands the EHR data model and determines data structures that benefits the entire reporting environment.

• Creates informative and interactive data visualizations/models using Power BI.

· Develops, supports, and implements Business Intelligence solutions.

Entry Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years in related supervisory position OR Associates degree in related field from accredited college or university AND Three years of related experience, Two years of which is related supervisory experience at the lower level IT Enterprise Business Analyst 2 (ITP181) or position equivalent.

· A minimum of 4 years of advanced SQL experience.

· Strong aptitude for modern BI solution development using Power BI.

· Experience designing and implementing enterprise business intelligence solutions using Microsoft BI technologies, with a focus on Power BI.

· Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills.

· A minimum of 3 years report writing for an integrated EHR is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
