Our continued growth has created an opportunity to join our IT Team as an IT Enterprise Systems Administrator.
Job Summary:
In conjunction with members of the AZPetVet IT Systems Team and TAG IT Teams, this position supports AZPetVet strategic business objectives driving integration with TAG, transformation of on-premise infrastructure to cloud-based, and providing infrastructure operational support of AZ Pet Vet’s corporate office and veterinary practice’s shared legacy infrastructure environments in the meantime. These include Azure, Azure AD, Azure VDI, O365, hybrid exchange, and physical and virtual servers to ensure application and resource availability for our hospitals, team members and clients. This will include evaluating and recommended strategies to achieve transformational goals while also installing, configuring, and managing systems/software including Active Directory, MS Exchange, Patch Management, and other software systems as required.
The Enterprise Systems Administrator also drives and participates in the development, planning, execution management and delivery of assigned technical projects in support of our business strategy (transformation and growth). This periodically includes the coordination of other IT Team members or departments who are assigned roles in projects being managed by the Senior Systems Administrator.
Finally, as the organization evolves and implements service and SaaS based options, Participate in the development of service KPIs and the ongoing measuring and management of those services.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Participate in designing and implement Infrastructure changes to elevate existing IT to more modern technology
- Support deployment of TAG standards in support of an increased leverage of TAG Centers of Excellence services
- Document existing AD structure and recommend adjustments needed to migrate the AZPetVet domain into TAG’s AD domain.
- Assist in the management, monitoring, and maintenance of existing Infrastructure (network equipment and data circuits, physical and virtual servers using Hyper-V and VMware, Remote Desktop and VDI environments) until migrated to shared services
- Maintain Active Directory and Azure AD services including configuring individual accounts and groups until automated
- Ensure the security of organizational and client data and systems using AV software, GPOs, firewalls, and monitoring tools
- Assist in the development and implementation of related policies and procedures documentation regarding the computing environment
Required Skills/Abilities:
Operational:
- Strong working knowledge of Azure, Azure AD, Azure VDI, and O365
- Strong vendor management capability
- Experience of 8-10 years with Windows server 2008 - 2016, MS SQL, NAS & SAN storage technologies, Hyper-V, VMware, MS Exchange, and the full suite of Office 365 applications and services
- Working knowledge of SD-WAN
- Ability to proactively plan for system upgrades based on current and future business needs
- Ability to clearly document system and infrastructure designs, policies and procedures
- Change Management principles
