We are seeking an IT MANAGER with strong project management and communication skills. The successful individual will be for the effective and efficient operation of the Company’s computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the company information technology and computer systems.
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs, including IT planning, deployment, operation, and support for 100+ users.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, including measuring effectiveness of service.
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and procedures
- Implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of unforeseen emergencies, while ensuring the preservation of assets, information security and control structures.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in timely manner.
- Regularly audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Contribute to the development of the company’s IT budget and planning.
- Facilitate IT security audits, policies, and strategy, including ensuring training to all employees is planned, implemented and completed.
- Coordinate integration of IT systems planning, implementation and providing ongoing support
- Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels and potential upgrades for operational efficiency.
- Implement ad hoc projects as assigned by the COO.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field.
- Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data center management and data governance
- Experience working in a chemical, F&F, or similar industry in manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Batch Metrics, Netsuite,
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $113,000.00 - $122,000.00 per year
