Qualifications:
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly related field.
Required Work Experience
3+ years of experience:
  • As Windows Systems Administrator.
  • Of administration of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Office365 systems.
  • Of supporting users and desktop systems (hardware and software).
  • Using PowerShell and other tools/scripts to automate system management.
A Plus:
  • Deep knowledge, configuration and administration of network switches, firewalls, mesh WIFI, and other network devices.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure standards and best practices, both onsite and cloud based.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information security, compliance, and IT audit requirements.
  • Setup and management of security software, hardware, and strategies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT Support as part of a business function (SLA’s, ITIL practices, etc.)
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong experience with Windows Operating Systems (10, 11, Server 2016, 2019)
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, materials, and knowledge bases.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues using research and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and details to a non-technical audience, including leadership.
  • Ability to communicate in technical terms with departmental staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administer, organize, and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
  • Administer, install, and troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, services, directories, storage, and components in accordance with standards and operational requirements.
  • Use System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or similar, to create, develop, and deploy workstation images, create software packages, and perform system deployments.
  • Support users and their endpoint devices, both hardware (such as desktop computers, virtual devices, peripherals, etc), and software programs (installed and cloud based).
  • Provision of new equipment for employees.
  • Lead asset management and employee onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Configure and manage SSO solutions (Azure based or Okta).
  • Track, prioritize, document, communicate, and resolve support requests using a support ticket system.
  • Participate in daily operational and security monitoring of the IT infrastructure and network.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted groups.
  • Monitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • Write or revise knowledge base documents and procedures.
