Job Overview:

We are looking for a JAVA developer to join our newly established Corporate Systems support team. The role will support a wide range of applications and integrations between systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a talent for finding creative solutions and a passion for supporting internal customers across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to support our suite of corporate applications, which includes custom Java applications, SalesForce custom objects and workflows, Sharepoint automated workflows, QuickBooks integrations and others.
• Perform or lead requirements analysis, design, code development, testing and maintenance
• Assist with implementation of Agile principles to design, code and debug software systems
• Mentor other teammates
• Work as well individually as you do in a team

Qualifications:

• Computer Science or MIS undergraduate degree
• 1 to 5 years of development experience
• Software development proficiency in Java
• Experience with the Eclipse development framework
• SQL or MySQL experience
• Experience using source control (e.g. SVN, GIT, BitBucket) and issue tracking (e.g. JIRA, Service Manager) systems
• Experience using APIs to support integration between systems
• Ability to manage multiple activities/projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and follow-up skills

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

• SalesForce – APEX development
• PowerAutomate
• PowerBI
• Sharepoint development
