POSITION SUMMARY:

Oversees day-to-day operations and staffing of all YMCA Kids Court Services including Child Watch and Birthday Parties. Effectively leads and supervises the Kids Court Staffing Team by fostering a work culture of togetherness, open communication, consistency, and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists with the hiring, training, & onboarding of new Kids Court employees
• Manages and oversees the Kids Court and Birthday Party Staffing Schedules to ensure all shifts and parties are adequately staffed in accordance with company policy.
• Serves as point person for the birthday party booking process and manages the party schedule
• Promotes Kids Court Services by actively collaborating with Association's Marketing Director
• Updates outdated documents in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensures the health and safety of guests by ensuring exceptional supervision and engagement
• Maintains accurate documentation of incident reports, attendance, etc.
• Monitors the performance of all Kids Court Employees to ensure guests receive high quality service
• Builds relationships with guests through the execution and promotion of superior customer service skills.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for guests by enforcing company cleaning/sanitizing procedures
• Fosters a climate of innovation to develop and diversify Kids Court Services to meet community needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One of the following educational requirements is preferred for this position:
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field is preferred
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, and 1 year of experience with children
  • An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, and 2 years of experience with children
  • An associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, and 3 years of experience with children.
