We are currently looking for a hard-working and customer service-minded individual to fulfill the Leasing Agent position with our company.

A Leasing Agent should be comfortable using technology, including property management software, databases, and other tools to manage lease applications, payments, and tenant records. A Leasing Agent should have strong attention to detail, including the ability to maintain accurate records and contracts and ensure that all lease terms are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Handles all prospects with move-in and out tenants.
• Makes sure all leases are made correctly with the proper approach to tenants.
• Updates all market rates and unit pictures.
• Handles application processing for housing assistance homes and non-housing assistance.
• Schedules inspections for move-in/out, section 8, and company yearly inspections.
• Creates new leases for commercial and residential, renewal leases, and negotiates rates for renewals with tenants handling both free market and rent-stabilized renewals according to regulation.

• Ability to interact well with tenants in difficult/stressful situations
• Highly motivated
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Isn’t afraid to ask for help if needed to efficiently complete the job

Compensation: $18.00/hr
