Job Description

American Alloy Steel, Inc is currently searching for a enthusiastic team player to fill the open position of an Experienced Maintenance Mechanic in our Houston, TX Corporate office!

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for maintenance of machines, equipment, forklifts, and custodial oversight. Position requires experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and welding equipment repair.

  • 3+ years experience in machinery repair
  • 3+ years experience in welding and hydraulic equipment repair
  • Knowledgeable with electricity & plumbing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
  • Complete maintenance repair logs
  • Maintain and secure work tools
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA facility regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work from 6am-2:30pm Monday thru Friday
  • Be available for overtime or weekend duty that may become available
  • Proficient reading tape measures and have knowledge of tools
  • Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures
  • Serves as a team member

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
