Job description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor/Technician with experience in Multi Family property maintenance, plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, tiling, and carpentry. The Maintenance Supervisor/Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical infrastructure of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe and functional for our employees and customers. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs on plumbing systems, electrical systems, roofing, flooring, tiling, and carpentry as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems, and implement effective solutions.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned, including painting, drywall repair, and Boiler maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Assist in the development of preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and prolong the life of our facilities.
• Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and visitors.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in Multi Family Apartment Complex work.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, tiling, and carpentry maintenance work.
• Strong working knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for plumbing systems, electrical systems, roofing, flooring, tiling, and carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to be a leader and direct the other maintenance techs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
• Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
