Path Engineering LLC (a staffing agency with years of experience helping companies with high-volume hiring needs) is posting this job on behalf of Silgan Plastics Corporation.

Job Overview:

7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m./ 223 shift including every other weekend

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. This person will be responsible for doing all work set forth by the department manager including but not limited to Daily PMs working on trouble calls, and working on projects lay out by the maintenance manager. This person will need to be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to all safety requirements.

  • Troubleshoot equipment

  • Perform PMs without supervision

  • Communicate to upper management as needed

  • Be proficient with all measuring tools

  • Be able to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and hard copy PLCprograms.

  • Possess the skills to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot equipment.

  • Possess the skills to understand and follow directions from his or her

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • Required: Good personal safety, attendance, and job performance record.

  • Both high amounts of quality and quantity of work.

  • Knowledge of plant procedures and equipment use.

  • Extent, to which a team member identifies and corrects errors, initiates work activities, assumes responsibility, and anticipates needs.

  • Extent, to which team member completes work assignments, meets schedules, and follows established policies and procedures.

  • Builds trust by respecting the ideas and contributions of everyone.

  • Maintenance background

Preferred: Five – seven (5-7) years of maintenance background

SKILLS:

Required:
