Managing Counsel, Priceline Partner Solutions Commercial

Why this job’s a big deal:
You will support the VP, Legal and Head of Commercial, Strategic & Corporate Affairs. You will be based in Dallas, TX. Priceline is looking for an inquisitive, engaging, and experienced senior commercial lawyer to work with our Strategic Partner Solutions division.
In this role you will get to:

Manage commercial contract drafting and negotiations for all PPS services and products.

Advise on strategic partnerships, licensing new business initiatives, sales, customer care, and inventory and content supply agreements.

Apply your intellectual curiosity and self-starter approach in negotiating with counterparties and engaging with the business to solve sophisticated business and legal issues.

Develop and implement standardized templates and processes.

Work with cross-functional teams across the globe and support the readiness and release of products and features by identifying and driving resolution of issues related to privacy, data security, marketing, competition, intellectual property, tax and other legal and regulatory areas to build scalable processes to provide products that our customers can trust.

Supervise outside counsel on escalated commercial matters, as needed.

Exercise autonomy and your ownership mentality in partnering directly with key stakeholders to quickly and nimbly execute on business objectives and drive results.
Who you are:
-
At least 8-12 years of legal experience as a qualified attorney, law firm experience required, and preferably some in house experience.

Exceptional legal education and law firm credentials.

Member in good standing with your state bar, with permission and ability to work in your hired location.

Commercial and contract drafting experience and strong negotiation skills with counterparties is required

Travel, Accommodations or Hospitality industry experience a plus

Privacy and general knowledge of legal issues facing tech and finance institutions is strongly preferred

Strong writing and editing skills and solid social skills.

Travel will be required from time to time (typically in the U.S. and Canada).

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
