Be part of an energetic team providing well supervised, engaging after-school activities and clubs to keep children learning and safe after their school day ends!

This particular position is ideal for someone interested in working with kindergarten age children. Great if you have experience with early childhood learning.

Our part time jobs are a good match for COLLEGE STUDENTS, FUTURE TEACHERS, CAMP COUNSELORS, YOUTH GROUP LEADERS, ACTORS, GAMERS, FILM MAKERS, DANCERS, MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, TUTORS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, YOGA & SPORTS COACHES, and we love TECHNOLOGY GEEKS!

We will help you turn your skills and hobbies into dynamic after school activities to enrich the lives of children from low income communities. Not sure you have what it takes? Yes you can lead a Pod-Casting, Robotics, or Art club! Let us show you how!

HOURS: When school is in session Monday - Friday, 2pm to 6pm *approximate start time (usually 1 hour earlier on Tuesdays) - some positions may be an option for those with less availability. Part time leaders work 20 to 22 hours per week.

KYDS will reimburse new hires for LiveScan criminal background checks, TB Certification, First Aid/CPR certification. Staff t-shirts and/or vests are provided at no cost to our employees!

Keep Youth Doing Something Inc., ("KYDS"), a nonprofit organization, has a mission to empower under-served, low-income and at-risk children and youth to fulfill their individual potential and participate constructively in the community. We do not charge participants for our services.

Other positions may be available at KYDS programs serving elementary, middle or high school age students in: Arleta, Boyle Heights, City Terrace, El Sereno, Encino, Granada Hills, Los Angeles (east), Los Angeles (south), North Hollywood, North Hills, Northridge, Reseda, Sun Valley, West Hills & Woodland Hills.
