Responsibilities

At Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Phoenix Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.

Our twelve-room OR suite maintains a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio which enables us to form close relationships with patients and their families during very difficult times. We also feature a 44-bay multi-level PACU with staff dedicated to trauma and other emergency cases. Our PACU features a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Throughout the unit we are committed to using the latest technology affording staff the opportunity to constantly learn and enhance their skills. As a Level I Trauma Center we are operational 24/7.

Located in Phoenix Az this position is critical to the success of St. Josephs Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

One (1) year experience as a nursing assistant or One (1) year OR experience required. (equivalent medical experience will be considered)
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card

Pay Range
$23.54 - $23.54 /hour
