Pay Banding Information:

Actual pay will be based on experience and qualifications, but is expected to be in the range of $46K - $70k.


Position Purpose:

Represent the Credit Union by providing members and business clients. Assist in Payments projects. Perform necessary functions to establish and maintain credit, debit, ATM and Online Bill Pay accounts and services. Explain and promote all products and services to customers.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

  • Provide information and services to all customers regarding credit, debit, ATM, Online Bill Pay and other related company products.
  • Cross-sell products and services when appropriate.
  • Maintain loan information on computer and all follow-up paperwork including:
    • performing file maintenance
    • preparing and following up on draft retrievals
    • monitoring incoming reports
    • verifying accuracy
    • making necessary accounting entries for reconciling GL accounts daily
    • processing disputes
    • blocking accounts;
    • and researching statements.
  • Process reversal and payments to accounts as needed.
  • Prepare new credit card accounts by establishing and maintaining all necessary information on the internal and systems.
  • Assist in tokenizing members’ Mastercard credit cards for use in digital wallets.
  • Process lost and stolen accounts and maintain files.
  • Process credit/debit card fraud claims. Have a thorough understanding of Visa, Mastercard, and regulatory requirements related to card fraud and dispute processes.
  • Assist with other related payments operations tasks as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Must have two to five years of similar and/or ACH-related positions.
  • Minimum high school degree or GED required.
  • Must have courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with others inside and outside the Credit Union generally for routine matters of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring, which commonly requires shorter discussions.
  • Must have experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be a team player and collaborate with others.
  • All team members must adhere to regulatory, compliance, and organizational guidelines.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain sedentary for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs in emergency situations.
