Job description

IMMEDIATE OPENING for full-time Physician Assistant (Family Practice) at Lackland AFB, TX.

Specific tasks and duties include but are not limited to the following:

To Perform critical care procedures, including but not limited to history taking, physical examination, recording progress notes, writing orders for patient care, and performing catheterization, ventilator management, feeding tube placement, bronchoscopy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Physician Assistant degree with a minimum of two years’ experience as a Physician Assistant with one year in a clinical setting within the last five years.
  • Possess National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification and a medical license.
  • Shall have current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Shall be required to meet Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
