Hours: Days 8a-5p,Cottman Avenue location

Job Summary

This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties. Responsible to confirm the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and Third Party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.

Requirements

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Experience 1 Year experience as an Insurance Specialist or equivalent hospital pre-certification/utilization role.
• Candidates need actual pre-cert experience (obtaining authorizations from insurance companies for scheduled hospital services including radiology studies, surgical procedures, and chemotherapy(Required!)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.58 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
