Job description
Duties:
- Work alongside 1-2 other teachers to nurture and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants and toddlers.
- Plan developmentally appropriate play/activities for groups of children.
- Maintain daily records and communicate with families.
- Feed bottles and meals according to schedule.
- Change diapers.
- Play with children outside.
- Maintain COVID-19 cleaning policies and protocols.
- Maintain a safe environment for children.
Qualification:
- Childcare experience is required.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Pass background check by Bright from the Start.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Able to fulfill all physical aspects of the job, including but not limited to lifting children, bending, and participating in outdoor activities.
- Current certification in infant/child CPR and first aid or completion of certification of both within 90 days after the first day of employment.
- Complete 10 hours of approved online courses each year.
- Complete CPR/First Aid.
Bonus Qualifications:
- CDA, TCC, TCD, AA, or higher degree in Early Childhood Education.
Schedule:
Pay:
$14-15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
