AKIRA Processing Associate
Are you a fast-paced, detail oriented, and collaborative individual who thrives on delivering results? Then AKIRA may be the place for you! AKIRA is a Chicago-based Women's Fast Fashion Retailer with 30+ stores across the U.S. with a strong e-commerce presence. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and ready-to-learn Inventory Processor(s).
Job Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Starting Salary: $17.00 an hour
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities may include:
- Perform warehouse duties involving AKIRA inventory: sort, censor, tag, scan, pack
- Work efficiently as part of a team and follow work instructions
- Safely operate in a warehouse environment
- Be able to receive and give feedback effectively
- Operate scanners/computers related to warehouse operations
- Cross-train and rotate through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business.
- All other responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to push, pull, lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the role
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 8-hour shift
