- Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones
- Hold regular team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement changes.
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
- Oversee acquisition of resources as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers,
- Update and maintain all documentations related to the delivery projects.
Education:
- A University degree in Project Management, telecommunications, IT or a related field required
- Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition is preferred
General skills:
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with different internal and external stakeholders, including technical, project management and account teams.
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Ability to manage multi-national teams, onshore and offshore resources.
- Ability to work on abstract requirements and strict timelines
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
