This position is fully remote.

Compensation:

$85,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

  • Understand capture strategy and interface with sales/capture lead.
  • Work on a proposal team and facilitate status meetings.
  • Thoroughly assess Requests for Proposal (RFPs)/Requests for Information (RFIs)/Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
  • Create and manage a compliance and response matrix to ensure RFP compliance.
  • Create and manage a proposal schedule to ensure milestone and delivery requirements are met.
  • Conduct milestone proposal reviews; adjust the proposal development schedule accordingly to accommodate corrective actions.
  • Manage storyboard/mockup process and strategy sessions.
  • Create writer packages and volumes via pre-established templates.
  • Assist with content development and ensure consistency across technical, management, and price volumes.
  • Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.
  • Develop win themes and incorporate strategies from review teams for final proposal drafts.
  • Provide support in creating marketing collateral; may assist with the company website and marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for data collection and preparation.
  • Prepare and develop materials for follow-on activities, including debriefs, closeout tasks, boilerplate development, and data collection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or Environmental/Construction-related industries.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs, requests for quotations (RFQs), and government inquiries about the company's capabilities.
  • 2-5 years of federal proposal writing.
  • 5 years of technical writing/marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in the American English language (composition, spelling, grammar, and punctuation).
