YOUR LIFE AS A PURCHASER - INVENTORY ASSOCIATE

This position is full-time and typically works on the purchasing and procurement of our heating and air conditioning products Monday - Friday during regular business hours.

As a Purchaser - Inventory Associate, you are vital to the operations of our company. You obtain each line of products in accordance with our established and approved departmental and company procedures. Each day, you keep track of our current inventory and place both replenishment and special orders as needed for our stock and customer requirements.

You negotiate with suppliers on pricing, terms, rebates related to existing, and new product offerings. When you put in orders, you make adjustments as necessary to ensure that you are within budget. After orders are made, you file receipts and watch over the tracking. If anything is past-due, you follow up with the supplier to inquire about the shipping. Additionally, you expedite orders as necessary to prevent stockouts. You take pride in the part you play in our success!


WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR PURCHASER - INVENTORY ASSOCIATE

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics) or a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a data-driven environment
  • Buying and inventory management experience
  • Attention to detail and solid follow-up are critically important
  • Sound computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel– Pivot tables/V-Look Up)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, planning tools, and evaluating data analytics
  • Excellent customer service
