A day as a Purchasing Receiver

• Receive ordered merchandise and verify quantity received
• Check received merchandise (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable merchandise according to internal procedures
• Distribute merchandise internally according to food safety rules and storage orders
• Adhere to the HACCP and all other food safety rules (e.g. FIFO, date marking, correct storage etc.)

WHO YOU ARE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in storing and handling merchandise preferably in the food industry
• Proactive and self-organized
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
• Flexible scheduling (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
