Quality Control Inspector
Summary Tests and inspects products, processes, and procedures at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
· Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas.
· Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures, using Epicor, Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
· Prepares graphs or charts of data, evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
· Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
· PCB experience and troubleshooting is a plus.

Education and/or Experience
2 year Technical Degree
Metrology Skills
Use gauges, micrometers and other tooling to check accuracy on parts and assemblies to blueprint specifications.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn and master the Quality and Production software used at Potter.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
