Quality/Reliability Eng General

Job Summary:

Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Quality/Reliability Eng General. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer you will represent our client at supplier manufacturing facilities, travelling up to 80% of the time. You will take a leadership role inside our client´s company and with our suppliers regarding product launch and current model quality. You will be empowered to make quality decisions on behalf of our client and authorize legal documents such as the Part Submission Warrant.

Basics:

Candidates must possess the following skills:

• 3 years experience with program management, quality improvement, quality processes, or lean in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of AIAG APQP and PPAP processes.
• Strong Program management and computer skills.
• ISO9001:2000 and/or ISO/TS16949:2002 knowledge/experience.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse people and cross-functional teams.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Technical degree in an engineering discipline.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, ChE, IE).
