Job description

The Quality Assurance Technician partners with the team to perform required quality inspections on Solar Power Plants. This could include Civil, Mechanical/Structural, Electrical, Pre-Commissioning and miscellaneous inspections as project requires.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule and perform Solar QC inspections as turned over by sub-contractor
• Ensure that inspections are performed within turnaround times as determined by client
• Inspect Mechanical materials for compliance with plans, specifications, and installation manual
• Ensure that electrical construction installations are competed in accordance with the project documents and specifications
• Prepare daily reports outlining progress
• Document the inspection, provide descriptions of any issues which have noted deficiencies and require corrective action. Complete applicable inspection forms and submit along with photos in appropriate application
• Maintain data test methods, and other documents as deemed appropriate for the work being performed
• Participate in meetings as required or directed by client/management

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to comprehend all construction documents including blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong knowledge of Photovoltaic (PV) technologies and installation practice
• Knowledge of NEC, MV and the proper use of PPE
• OSHA 30 required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
