Concord Hospitality Enterprises, one of the largest hospitality development and management companies in the US, is seeking a talented and ambitious Real Estate Acquisition Director to join our growing team. We are dedicated to the development of hotel expansion and are growing rapidly in the Western US. This is a remote position, based out of the West Coast (Denver/Phoenix/San Diego/Las Vegas).

The Real Estate Acquisition Director will be responsible for assisting in the growth of our extended stay hotel portfolio and will be accountable to locate land opportunities, qualifying their merits, entitling projects, and ensuring that the finished products align with Company expectations and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Explores new and potential opportunities of land transactions in select and targeted western US markets.
  • Oversees negotiations involving the purchase of real estate properties
  • Manages due diligence and site investigations, makes recommendations to the Group, and executes responsibilities within the timeline negotiated.
  • Leads the site entitlement process and navigation through zoning variances, rezoning or similar.
  • Maintains clear and concise communications keeping team members abreast of decisions and requirements for a clean handoff into construction.
  • Ensures that the management of the Group is constantly apprised of business activity, market opportunities, status, trends and business developments within the market
  • Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of US Zoning Regulations, Land Listing Platforms and sources of market information
  • Manages rights and obligations under the Company’s partnership agreements to protect the Company’s interests
  • Provides ad-hoc and on-going decision support to the management of the Group by engaging in data analysis, risk/return analysis, research and market assessment activities for varying business scenarios of proposed projects
  • Ensures areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that is consistent with company’s goals and financial criteria

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate development industry.

Good and strong relationships with the land sales sources, real estate agencies and other related parties.

Good understanding of the operation of the government departments related to the real estate industry.

Excellent business acumen

Ability to analyze, weigh, and make decisions on risk analysis (and to defend reasoning);

Ability to learn and adapt

Ability to work independently and as part of an overall team structure

Ability to handle multiple projects and multi-task

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail.

Demonstrated business development and financial skills

Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and e-mail platforms

Pay Range: $84,802 - $106,003
