POSITION SUMMARY:
The Routine Maintenance Specialist reports directly to the Routine Maintenance Manager. The position is able to be located at any refining location but does require travel. The position will focus on supporting refineries in routine maintenance effectiveness driving efficiency, accountability, and consistency in all routine maintenance direct and indirect areas.
Travel requirement for this position is up to 50%.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support routine maintenance best practice development, implementation, and auditing.
  • Identify global and site-specific improvement through engaged refinery assessments and collaboration.
  • Drive best in class RM Execution through optimization, standardization, and consistency as it relates to RM workflow/execution in alignment with RSP 1400-000.
  • Support refinery budget submittal process through reviews, standardization, and guidance.
  • Support refinery Work Flow Improvement Teams and establish site ownership of performance by becoming an accountability partner.
  • Leverage data and tools (Time on Tools, Solomon, Headcount, Schedule Compliance, Contractor use) to provide analysis and improvement at site and company level.
  • Lead Planning/Craft refinery advisory teams.
  • Provide maintenance support for key corporate improvement initiatives (ie: Project Unify, E Permitting, Go Plant).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • Ten years experience in refining or petrochemical industries is required.
  • Experience in routine maintenance workflow is required.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft applications is required.
