Job Title: Emergency Department RN - Travel

Location: Rochester, NY

Salary: $3600 - $3780 Weekly

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team in Rochester, NY. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will provide expert emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients in the Emergency Department, including obtaining a detailed medical history and performing a physical examination.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and address any changes in condition.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with triage and patient flow through the Emergency Department.
• Educate patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment options.
• Document patient assessments and interventions in accordance with hospital policy.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of New York.
• BLS, ACLS, certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Emergency Department.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technologies as needed.
