Air Products is seeking a Removal Coordinator to manage the removal of assets from customer sites in the United States and Canada. Air Products provides customers with on-site storage systems for both cryogenic and gaseous products (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium) and also handles the removals of these systems when no longer needed. The storage systems can consist of such equipment as tanks, vaporizers, tubes, and manifolds. Most of this equipment can be rehabbed and redeployed to future customer sites.
The Removal Coordinator will be part of the Customer Engineering Assets team and will coordinate removal projects from beginning to end. There are three Removal Coordinators within the Assets team. A Removal Coordinator should possess strong project management and organizational skills and be comfortable communicating by both phone and email to external and internal contacts.

Customer Engineering Field Technicians
Customer Engineering Project Engineers
Liquid Bulk and Microbulk Sales Representatives
Project Accounting and Billing
Rehab Shops
Transportation Vendors and Corporate Transportation
Responsibilities include:
- Process incoming requests for system removals from Sales
- Generate site specific removal cost estimate if required
- Manage removal projects in SAP
- Coordinate removal schedule with customer, contractors, AP field technician, and competitors (if necessary) in most efficient way possible
- Deliver safety as top priority when arranging removals, fully understand AP Crane and Rigging Procedure 4WCE-600500
- If required, acquire crane lift plan, audit for completeness, submit to lift plan approver, address any questions from approver as necessary
- Provide removal package to AP field technician or contractor
- Set up shipment of equipment using common carrier, external transportation vendor, or internal corporate transportation
- Resolve any issue during removal of equipment with positive demeanor and a solutions-oriented mind set in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure customers are invoiced for removals as required by sales
- Manage progress of removals via online sharesite called Delta and keep all data regarding removals up to date
- Share coverage for removal team during vacations and during high workload
- Help others do their best by sharing knowledge of Delta tool and providing assistance with using system
- Evaluate and introduce improvements to the current process to increase efficiency and simplify the work process
Qualifications:
- Independent, motivated individual, able to multi-task 30+ active projects, highly organized, open to new ideas with positive attitude
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated ability with project related work
- Detail oriented with strong follow through and ability to prioritize
- Familiarity in gaseous and cryogenic systems
- Focus on problem solving
- Excellent communications in both written and oral form
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Sharesites, etc.)
- Document management proficiency
- Familiarity with SAP
