JOB SUMMARY
The Residential Aide Coordinates and ensures the overall safety and security of the facility. Coordinates and verifies client movement in the facility in conjunction with other operation staff, while also monitoring the client conduct and overall behavior during tour of duty.
JOB-RELATED DUTIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Screens all clients and visitors to the facility
- Educates clients about the facility policies and procedures
- Ensures that clients abide by the facility policies and procedures
- De-escalates potential crisis situations, de-escalates, and documents all situations and interventions
- Conducts rounds throughout the facility including hallways, stairwells, floors, bathrooms, and other common areas
- Completes logs, incident reports, and all other required documentation
- Performs administrative and receptionist duties at the operations desk
- Monitors video surveillance cameras, fire prevention, detection alarm and notification system
- Conducts fire drills; evacuates the building when necessary, utilizing fire procedures
- Assists with room preparation and turnover for new clients as required
- Performs other duties as assigned

Salary: $21.04 an hour
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Required Vaccination against Covid-19
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior military and/or public safety experience preferred
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, nights and/or weekends and overtime, if necessary
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- F-80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification, preferred
- Bi-Lingual (English Spanish), a plus
- Valid Security Guard License
- 8 hour and 16-hour Certifications
- Must be willing to work all shifts and available for overtime, as necessary
