Description:

  • Full Project Lifecycle Assistance: You will guide projects from inception to completion, overseeing every aspect of the process with meticulous attention to detail and expertise.
  • Liaison between Field Staff and Management: As the key point of contact, you will effectively communicate project updates, requirements, and challenges, fostering strong collaboration between all stakeholders.
  • Project Cost Estimation and Budget Compliance: You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated Sequencing Expertise: Showcase your proficiency in coordinating and executing construction projects, from initial lot clearing to successful handover.
  • Budget Adherence: Consistently deliver projects within budget, aligning with our company's overarching revenue goals.
  • Becoming the Project Expert: Thoroughly familiarize yourself with architectural and structural plans, work scopes, selections, specifications, cut sheets, installation guides, subcontractor and supplier bids, and other project documentation prior to project commencement.
  • Intentional Project Building: Emphasize pre-construction layouts, planning, and sequencing based on your comprehensive project knowledge to minimize waste, rework, and inefficiency.
  • Effective Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Hold subcontractors and suppliers accountable for their commitments while efficiently managing scope modifications through Change Orders to mitigate gross margin slippage.
  • Cultivating Relationships: Invest in and nurture relationships with Design Partners, Engineers, Inspectors, and Trade Partners, employing a firm yet fair management style that emphasizes win-win outcomes.
  • Proficient Technical Skills: Exhibit proficiency in material costing, construction and project management, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, document control, project controls, and subcontractor management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent, along with 5 to 10 years of experience in residential construction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to team members and stakeholders.
  • Comfort and Leadership On-site: Demonstrate your ability to oversee and lead construction teams confidently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
