Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and reliable professionals to lead staff who provide services for residents at the Special Commitment Centerlocated on McNeil Island. This is a great opportunity to work with mental health patients in a residential treatment facility.

In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Residential Program Director to oversee the implementation of the facility's treatment and ensure it is implemented consistently, in a therapeutic manner. Your knowledge and experience will help to Transform Lives.

Some of what you will do:

  • Make sure staff have read, understand, and apply treatment plans
  • Ensure residents’ physical needs are met
  • Assign and evaluate RRC staff work performance
  • Handle complex, sensitive issues and initiate proactive intervention as needed
  • Provide information to resident's treatment teams
  • Instruct and encourage residents regarding policies, procedures, protocols, and living unit rules/regulations
  • Generate accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of routine matters
  • May act as an On-Site Supervisor as assigned
  • Ensure staff maintain safe, secure living environments
  • Ensure optimal staffing coverage is provided for the oncoming shift
  • Provide ongoing in-service training to rehabilitation staff
  • Ensure staff monitor resident's use of prescription medications
  • Identify individual staff training needs and provide one-on-one performance enhancement training on specific skills and tasks as needed or directed

Who should apply?
Professionals with a high school diploma or GED and one of the following:

  • Four years of experience providing direct care to psychiatric patients, residents, or inmates in a residential or in-patient mental health setting.

OR

  • Two years of experience as a supervisor or lead worker and two years of experience providing direct care to psychiatric patients, residents, or inmates in a residential or in-patient mental health setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,216.00 - $5,535.00 per month
