“This job advertisement is for the purposes of facilitating an interview with the person to be supported. After a screening process, an interview will be determined by the person supported. Once the interview is completed, the supported person will determine whether to offer the position. If offered the position, the applicant will be given directions to formally apply to the agency position.”
The position being offered is a Community habilitation specialist. The pay rate is $17.00 -$18.00 an hour. This position will assist with the following:
Assisting with skills living in the community. This job is specifically for assisting with cleaning skills and food preparation.
Under the direction of the Person Supported and Fiscal Intermediary, this position is responsible for providing person directed services and supports as outlined in the person’s Self-Directed Budget, Life Plan, and Staff Action Plan(s).
Education:
- High School diploma, GED, or an acceptable TABE test score is preferred
