Northwest Facilities & Equipment Maintenance (NWFEM) provides commercial equipment and facilities maintenance and repair for quick serve restaurants and commercial businesses in the Portland, OR and Seattle, WA metropolitan areas. Job Summary
NWFEM is looking for individuals with solid mechanical aptitude and/or equipment repair experience to help us in our mission of Synergy. Do you like working with your hands, fixing broken machines, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, etc.? Are you looking for a 'home' where you can build a career? We service a variety of commercial restaurant equipment at locations across the PNW, with a specialty commercial Coffee and Espresso equipment. We are looking for "right fit" individuals who fit into our culture and have the skills to help us create a great experience for our staff and our customers. Do these manufacturers sound familiar? BUNN, Thermoplan, Franke, Ditting, La Marzocco, Rancillio, Joe Tap, Turbochef, Merrychef, Alto Shaam. That's just some of manufacturers we service.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8AM - 6PM

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of electrical theory/application a plus
  • A clean driving record and safe driving practices
  • Great customer service

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations across the PNW
  • Display empathy when dealing with customers
  • Diagnose a repair a wide variety of commercial restaurant equipment
  • Use software to document repairs and parts used
  • Use software to document time throughout the day
  • Effectively communicate with internal team and external customers

Salary will be dependent upon experience and skills. NWFEM offers comprehensive medical and dental insurance coverage following 60 days (about 2 months) of employment.
