Right of Way Acquisition Agents (Entry & Experienced) - Appalachian Area (Telcom / Electric)
Job description
Percheron is currently looking for experienced and Entry level Right of Way Acquisition Agents local to the Appalachian Area. (Telecom and or Electric Transmission experience a plus)
Must be willing to work on a 5-day work week. Per diem is available if lodging overnight due to project location.
Candidate will have the ability to work remote and commute to the target area on an as needed basis to support right of way operations.

Job Requirements:
- 1-year Minimum Right of Way Acquisition experience (Telecom and or Electric Transmission experience a plus)
- Ability to effectively negotiate with private landowners and governmental agencies for the acquisition of various land rights for construction, operation and maintenance of existing and new facilities, including but not limited to, fee simple, easements, leases, temporary workspace agreements, licenses, permits and ordinances.
- Ability to plan and organize workload, adjusts to changing priorities, and work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Perform internal and external due diligence to ensure accuracy and completeness of land rights or to identify and bring forward deficiencies requiring curative action.
- Serve as liaison with landowner/ tenant on ownership, easement rights, damage claims and access issues.
- Effectively use Owner’s established policies, procedures, processes to perform work.
- Represent company at public meetings before governmental agencies such as municipalities, zoning boards, townships, county commissioners and similar organizations.
- Basic knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
- Solid understanding of Eminent Domain and the process
- Ohio real estate license is a plus for agents working in Ohio, however, agent will have the opportunity to obtained license after hire.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (ie.e. Word and Excel.)
- Must be willing to work on a 5-day work week.
