Be a Room Attendant in Alaska and SAVE MONEY! Unisea, a leader in the seafood industry seeks adventurous and highly motivated individual to work at the Grand Aleutian Hotel and Harbor View Inn.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Clean guestrooms and bathrooms (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, making beds, disinfecting surfaces, etc.).

· Perform public area cleaning (vacuuming lobby areas, cleaning public restrooms, cleaning administrative offices, shampoo carpets, etc.).

· Help in laundry room (folding towels and linens, ironing linens).

· Report any maintenance needs in guestrooms or lobby areas.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

· Perform other duties as directed.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· 6 months to 1 year housekeeping or janitorial experience a plus.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend and lift.

· Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds maximum, up to 25 pounds frequently.

· Good communication skills.
