POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible to leads sales promoters, help gather valid scopes of appointment, creates seminars, look for point of sales, booth and different community activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Look after sales promoter assigned to his/her team
  • Collects and manage all generated leads from promoters assigned to his/her team on a daily basis.
  • Creates and coordinates seminars, community activities, providers activities, etc with the purpose of generating valid leads.
  • Identifyes possible points of sales.
  • Network to establish and maintain relationships with community contacts, providers, members and others who may refer potential leads.
  • Assembles and distributes the materials needed on each activity.
  • Reports and assigned hot leads to Sales Representatives, Sales Supervisor or Director.
JD – Sales Promoter Team Leader
  • Creates and maintains scope of appointment status reports on a daily basis.
  • Maintains an upright behavior in order to represent the name, product and image of our organization.
  • Visits and evaluates POS (booth) to identify compliance issues or Marketing needs.
  • Supports and recruitment, hiring and training Sales promoter Representative.
  • Assigns POS (booth) to sales promoter, determinates needs and manage any reported situation on POS.
  • Creates POS calendars and activities to sales promoters.
  • Supports the creation of training and retrains sales promoters.
  • Maintains and request marketing materials for Sales Promoters.
  • Special projects as assigned.
Scope of Appointment Processing
  • Make sure all paper/electronic Scope Of Appointment are receive in the office and fill out correctly, date stamped and send via On Base system.
  • Make sure all Scope of Appointment are up loaded on a daily basis, and monitor all queues to make sure the Scope of Appointment are correctly process.
  • Make sure original Scope of Appointment are send to Administration.
  • Identify trends and report them to sales administration.
Compliance
  • Makes sure all sales promoters comply with all CMS regulations, and MMM Holding Policies and Procedures.
  • Makes sure all Sales Promoters fill out scope of appointments based on CMS, MMM/PMC and our regulators Rules and Guidelines.
  • Learn new policies and procedures and keep updated information of regulations related to Compliance and be able to comply with them.
  • Most comply with all Regulatory Training and approve Compliance Tests with a minimum score of 85%.
  • Help with the investigation process.
  • Notify any suspicious situation to the sales Administrative Supervisor and Director.
JD – Sales Promoter Team Leader
Associate Related
  • Look after and support Sales Promoters.
  • Create a Monthly Sales Plan to work with their team to accomplish the goal.
  • Training, Motivating and evaluating of the sales team, including ride-Along, One on Ones & telephone evaluations with each sales rep on an ongoing basis.
  • Create performance review and discuss with the employees.
  • Answer calls from employees for various questions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical school. Minimum one year sales experience in health care sales, preferable. Previous experience working with seniors and/or disables population (nursing, teaching and social work).
ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal busy office environment. Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic). While working the employee is generally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee will do internal traveling Island wide. Regularly it will be required working on weekends and/or odd hours, evening or weekend work. The noise in the work environment is moderate. Needs to travel around the island.

JD – Sales Promoter Team Leader
  • Ability to operate various types of office equipment including software packages such as Office – Word, Excel and Power Point - 2000 and Outlook – and database familiarity a plus.
  • Self-directed with good organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Insurance Commissioner Regulations and guidelines, and managed care business in general.
  • Customer Orientation Skills: practicing, valuing and supporting service to both internal and external customers
  • Persuasion Skills: gaining agreement or acceptance for ideas
  • Presentation Skills: addressing small and large groups in an effective manner
  • Sales Sensitivity Skills: accurately interpreting a prospect’s concerns and buying signals
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to write and communicate in English; ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
JD – Sales Promoter Team Leader
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS
The responsibilities of this position require interaction with Sales Representatives, Sales Coordinator, Sales Supervisor and Managers for feedback.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
While working the employee is standing, sitting, walking, talking, and listening most of the time. The job also requires reaching objects with hands; stooping and bending to file and maintain orderliness; mobility to complete errands. This job also requires lifting objects up to 25 pounds. Performed tasks require independent knowledge and judgment in addition to provided instructions and procedures. Must be able to function with frequent interruptions, accept change and able to prioritize activities when faced with competing demands.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
The employee must have a valid Puerto Rico driver’s license and should demonstrate a satisfactory record of safety.
