Job Description

Dallas Group of America (DGA) is seeking an experienced Sales Representative in its Food Service Division. Responsibilities will include providing service, technical support, training, and relationship management to the Quick Service Restaurant industry at the local restaurant, channel, headquartered staff and distributor levels. The Sales Representative will also execute sales and marketing plans and provide market intelligence, including customer, competitive and sales volume data. DGA provides a thorough training program which includes product knowledge, sales process and business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain relationships at restaurant and franchise headquarters, national chains, local operations, and distribution channel centers to ensure program satisfaction, create competitive barriers, and tie into local customer programs.

· Attend customer trade shows, conventions, and charitable events.

· Prepare and execute sales plan for assigned territories and customers.

· Provide market, customer, and competitive intelligence for assigned territories and customers.

· Support the S&OP process by providing customer program and sales estimates for assigned territories and customers on a timely basis.

· Identify unserved customers and develop target account plans to convert. Assist in the demonstration of product value, sales effort to close the sale, and ultimate roll out.

· Understand the company business system, to be able to intercede on the customer’s behalf when a problem or special requirement arises.

· Assess the training and support needs at both the restaurant and territory level to properly generate the expected product performance and provide the training required.

· Conduct oneself as the representative of the company’s Core Values.

· Understand the product chemistry and oil filtration process to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

· Foodservice industry experience preferred.

· Sales experience preferred.

· Demonstrated success with entire sales process including prospecting, qualifying, obtaining commitment, negotiating and account maintenance while managing customer expectations preferred.

· Prior experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce, preferred.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet, email required.

· Superior communication skills required.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university OR 5+ years related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to travel up to 65% of the time by air and/or own insured vehicle.

· Valid Driver’s License required.

· Ability to lift 45 lbs.

· Ability to climb stairs.

· Good manual dexterity required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
