Job description
Position Summary
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling vehicle repairs and lubrication for vehicle-maintenance based on date of last lubrication and mileage traveled or urgency of repairs. The Scheduler is also responsible for coordinating amongst customers, appropriate vendors, and GSA to ensure prioritizing and performance of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Schedules vehicle repairs and lubrication for vehicle-maintenance.
- Contacts garage to verify availability of facilities
- Notifies parking garage workers to deliver specified vehicles
- Maintains a file of requests for services
- Analyzes and investigates all work requests
- Develops all work order-based job plans
- Plans all maintenance work, estimates time and resources, and schedules all planned jobs
- Ensures parts, materials, and tools are appropriately requisitioned to complete planned jobs
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory duties.
Physical Demands
- Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have minimum of 2 years of experience of maintenance planning systems either as a planner or an engineering technician.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient writing emails and using Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to take independent action to manage deficiencies in the program as they occur.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Possess a Valid Drivers’ License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management and capital project experience.
- Electrical/Mechanical aptitude.

- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
- This is your primary position. Alternate positions will only be engaged at the direction of the supervisor.
