The Tanager School Based Program currently works with nine area school districts to make evidence-based treatment available to students struggling with mental and behavioral challenges outside of the home. Services are conveniently offered at school eliminating the need for caregivers to arrange transportation.

• Full-time is approximately 20 – 25 sessions per week. Earning potential increases with additional sessions. Our therapists can earn up to $90,000 annually.

Job Details

As a School Based Therapist, you'll work alongside school supports to provide initial assessments, create treatment plans and introduce clients to our services. By providing therapy to a caseload of clients, as well as engaging with school supports, students and families, you'll be increasing resilience and overall wellness for all students, families and educators.

Qualified Candidates

• Strong assessment and intervention / observation skills, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Iowa License
• Masters-level licensed therapist: LMSW, LISW, LMHC-t, LMHC, LMFT-t, LMFT.
