Senior Analyst, Digital Insights & Analytics (Hybrid)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Analyst will work independently to support the digital enhancements test and learn agenda to influence the customer experience. The candidate will manage test ideation, execution, and work independently to interpret results and present results to stake holders throughout the digital organization.
The Sr Analyst will work closely with their counterpart to support in web analytics, marketing data, etc. to create action from insight to influence the digital strategy.
The candidate will be a senior individual contributor to a department where high expectations are the norm. Top performers have opportunities to present findings directly to senior leaders across the organization and manage impactful projects driving millions of dollars in incremental sales.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the digital commerce testing initiatives to answer business questions by applying expertise of business and systems to:
- Determine the set of metrics needed to answer the question
- Identify the methods to pull and summarize that information
- Conduct the analysis of the results, extracting the insights and findings
- Creating and presenting the method and findings within a well-developed deck to senior leaders of the organization
- Financial planning and results estimation (using analysis to inform the future impact of promotional activity, customer behavior, cross category shopping, etc.)
- Support cross functional testing teams to create action(s) from insight.
- Identification of white-space opportunities within our group and surrounding operations.
- Create new processes that can be applied to our current deliverables and add value to the business.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage multiple forms of data to analyze the efficacy for marketing initiatives, merchant assortments, and create prioritized, actionable recommendations.
- Identify business growth opportunities based on current digital trends.
- Support cross functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Digital Merchandising) in regular & ad-hoc analyses.
- Analytics tools will be used daily. The individual should be well versed with analytics technologies (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Excel).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in analytical or related field; Advanced degree preferred (Master’s or MBA).
- Knowledge of statistical concepts such as regression, significance testing etc.
- Capacity to manage multiple and competing demands/projects and deliver against aggressive goals.
- Experience both tactically and strategically with test design and execution as part of a testing & optimization program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including influence and leader engagement.
- Rigorous attention to detail.
- Flexible and creative problem solver.
- Readily adapts and champion for change.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
- 4+ years professional experience in an analytical role, utilizing Excel often. Experience with Adobe Analytics is preferred.
- 4+ years of marketing and/or retail business experience preferred.
