The Senior DE&I Consultant plays a key role within the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Center of Excellence. This is a high impact role with responsibility for executing plans that build an inclusive environment within Boston Scientific. The role requires a strategic, analytical thinker and change agent, who can build relationships across multiple leadership teams. The position is responsible for leading the business through the development of significant Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programming that creates and sustains an inclusive culture.


Location: This role can be remote in any U.S. locations or outside of U.S

Your responsibilities will include:

  • In partnership with senior DE&I management, acting as an advisor to management and business partners using diplomacy and tact to create and sustain programs or initiatives that drive an inclusive culture.
  • Supporting the overall execution of corporate-wide inclusion initiatives as assigned
  • Acting as a strategic partner, connector and advisor to ERG chapter leads, global leads and executive sponsors to align enterprise-level DE&I goals to ERG goals
  • Supporting the management and facilitation of the Global Council for Inclusion (GCI) and the Anti-racism and Cultural History (ARCH) program
  • Using project management skills to drive implementation of comprehensive DE&I initiatives.
  • Coordinating data management and analytical work for key Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Gathering and infusing insights from various data sources (external diversity best practice benchmarks, internal DE&I climate assessments, employee engagement surveys, etc.) to inform DE&I strategy.
  • Collaborating with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion champions across the company on shared goals and objectives.
  • Participating in related policy review or projects to identify gaps and recommend actions that drive DE&I progress for underrepresented groups.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years DE&I or relevant HR experience
  • Strong executor who can link DE&I goals to action plans and implement the plan
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze and present data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; can effectively articulate the business case for DE&I
  • Experience working effectively across a complex, global organization
  • Proven ability to build trust and gain the confidence of internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior project management skills
  • Up to 20% travel required.

  • Consulting presence with senior leaders
  • Highest levels of personal and professional ethics and integrity
  • Forward-thinking with the skillful ability to manage through ambiguity
  • Experience working with national-level professional organizations
  • Familiarity with and exposure to employee resource groups
