The Senior Sales Insights and Reporting Analyst role is designed to work directly with leaders across the organization (SLT, Sales, Finance, Production). The role is critical for driving continuous improvement of Sales KPIs and overall business metrics. Success of this role will be seen through creating Visible & Transparent data (Right Information for Right People at Right Time) that will drive Continuous Improvement (Identify, Plan, Execute, Review) in business decisions, that will cause the organization to Win Consistently (Achieve Market Advantage).


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Operations & Stewardship

  • Sales Forecast Process Owner: Design, manage and facilitate the forecast process and cadence that supports the company success objectives
  • Commissions Process Owner: Develop, implement, and administer sales commission and incentive programs. Calculate commission/incentive award payments based on plan provisions. Review monthly commission payment deliverable for accuracy and compliance. Support annual compensation planning process with HR and Finance
  • Sales Reporting Tools Owner: Design and manage the Sales Reporting workspace within Power BI. Responsible for defining and monitoring success metrics, working cross functionally to define key metrics, interpret data and insights, and identify areas of opportunity and growth

Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify and prioritize sales strategies and capabilities to enhance growth opportunities for the organization
  • Planning & Goal Setting: Support, manage and report on a portfolio of metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the sales operations organization
  • Territory Planning & Quota Assignment: Develop plans and assignments in partnership with Sales Leaders that align to company success objectives Insights & Analysis
  • Define, build, administer, and improve performance dashboards; providing for logical, intuitive interactions that deliver valued insights from sales rep to CEO
  • Continually evaluate, develop, and implement new, meaningful methods for data analysis to inform the sales organization about its own performance and drive sales productivity and overall growth
  • Own day-to-day management of analytics projects, continually evaluate and recommend improvements to what data to capture within Sales tools (i.e. CRM)

Consultation & Collaboration

  • Information Administration: Work across the organization to provide subject matter expertise on how to create organized visibility into key data/information
  • KPI / Metric: Work across the organization to provide subject matter expertise on defining KPIs / Metrics that help drive desired results
  • Power BI: Work across the organization to provide subject matter expertise on how to design effective visualizations in Power BI, with understanding of underlying data flow between key systems

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or marketing, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in sales analysis with demonstrated strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving, research and data analysis skills with the ability to forecast to anticipate trends to make data-driven decisions
  • Expert skill level with PowerBI and Excel, with ability to perform complex functions and formulas, utilizing ERP systems with high volume data sets
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, database, CRM and presentation software
  • Superior analytical, projection and forecasting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  • As this is a high visibility role, clear and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
